A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

hI, I'M BROOKE BUT YOU CAN CALL ME, BEE.

I'm the girl behind the camera making ridiculous noises, busting out awkward dance moves, or fake tripping over absolutely nothing... all in the name of getting a genuine laugh. I'll happily embarrass myself if it means capturing the real, joy-filled moments you'll actually want to remember.

I was born and raised in tiny Staley, North Carolina, where I learned to appreciate the little things in life, and I think that's exactly why I photograph the way I do. Back in 2019, I felt the Lord leading me away from a career that no longer fulfilled me and toward photography. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion, then a business, and now it's the career I once only dreamed about.

I thank God every day that I get to call this my job.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll probably find me playing Pokémon GO, building LEGOs, trying a new recipe, painting something, working out with my better half, or hanging out with my sweet Aussie, Nala. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's a few years ago, and while it wasn't the journey I expected, it's taught me to live healthier, slow down, and grow closer to the Lord.

I've also been told my entire life that I should've been a comedian... whether that's because I'm actually funny or because my family pities my jokes is still up for debate. 😂

At the end of the day, I love Jesus, I love my family, I love serving people, and I truly believe every story deserves to be remembered. I'd be honored to help tell yours.

My 2 cents that you didn't ask for.

I know your wedding day is one of the biggest & most special days of your life, but I also believe it’s meant to be enjoyed. My goal is to be one of the least stressful parts of your planning process and one of the vendors you look back on and think, “I’m so glad we hired her.” I’ll hype you up, fluff the dress, fix the veil, calm the nerves, keep things moving when needed, and remind you to slow down and actually soak it all in because it's really does fly by in the blink of an eye on the wedding day.

My style is laid back in the best way. Intentional, but never forced. Romantic, but fun. I want you to laugh hard, hold each other close, and leave your session or wedding day feeling like yourselves instead of feeling overly posed or exhausted. The best photos happen when you stop worrying about being perfect and simply live in the moment together.

More than anything, I want my clients to feel how much I genuinely love what I do. This job doesn’t feel like work to me. Getting to tell your story and preserve the moments you’ll one day look back on with full hearts is something I’ll never take for granted.
